• Free sample analysis (limited to approximately 10,000 words or 2 chapters)
• Paid full manuscript analysis at tiered pricing
• Revision analysis services for manuscripts previously analyzed

Our service provides editorial feedback and suggestions. We do not guarantee publication, commercial success, or any specific outcome from using our analysis.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

• Payment is required before analysis processing begins
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All purchases are one-time transactions; no subscriptions or auto-renewals apply
• Prices may be changed at any time; changes will not affect completed purchases

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Refund Eligibility

A full refund will be issued only if:

• Our system fails to generate your analysis report due to a technical error
• The generated report is completely unreadable or corrupt
• We are unable to resolve the technical issue within a reasonable timeframe

5.2 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided for:

• Dissatisfaction with the content, depth, or conclusions of the analysis
• Disagreement with the editorial feedback provided
• User error, including uploading the wrong file or incomplete manuscript
• Issues with manuscript formatting that affect analysis quality
• Failure to read or understand the analysis report
• Changes of mind after purchase
• Technical issues on the user's end (internet connection, browser compatibility, etc.)

5.3 Free Sample Analysis

We strongly encourage all users to utilize our free sample analysis before making a purchase. The free analysis demonstrates the type, quality, and depth of feedback you can expect from our service.

6. Revision Analysis

• Each paid analysis includes one (1) free revision analysis
• The free revision must be for the same manuscript (title) as the original analysis
• Additional revision analyses are available at 50% of the standard price
• Revision analyses are subject to the same terms as original analyses

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Your Rights

• You retain all ownership rights to your manuscript and its content
• You retain all copyright and intellectual property rights in your work
• We do not claim any ownership of content you upload
• Your manuscript will not be published, shared, or distributed by us

7.2 Our Rights

• EditEdge AI retains all rights to the analysis report format, structure, and methodology
• Our website, branding, logos, and service design are our intellectual property
• The AI analysis technology and algorithms are proprietary

7.3 License Grant

By uploading a manuscript, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating your analysis report. This license terminates upon completion of the analysis.

8. User Responsibilities and Conduct

You agree to:

• Upload only content you own or have the legal right to submit for analysis
• Provide accurate information about yourself and your manuscript
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit our Service
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Not use automated systems to access the Service without permission

9. Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• Infringes on others' copyright or intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal material or promotes illegal activities
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Is defamatory, threatening, or harassing
• Contains child exploitation material
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to refuse service and report illegal content to appropriate authorities.

15. Termination

• For any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Completed analyses remain accessible unless termination was for Terms violations.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be:

• First attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
• If unresolved, submitted to mediation in Victoria, Australia
• If mediation fails, resolved through binding arbitration or courts in Victoria, Australia

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

18. Changes to Terms

• Changes are effective immediately upon posting
• Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms
